Improvements at three Catholic schools

The St. Clair Catholic District School board will move ahead with a trio of capital projects this year.

One of them is for nearly $308,000 to replace part of the roof at Ursuline College Chatham.

The project will include a partial roof removal and replacement of the gymnasium area and five classrooms in the Merici building.

Holy Trinity in Sarnia will see a classroom and leaning commons renovation to the tune of nearly $267,000.

The parking lot at St. Matthew in Sarnia will also be expanded, with a price tag of more than $542,000.

“We are pleased to make these investments in our school communities, in keeping with the Board’s mission to foster good stewardship of our resources and make wise use taxpayer dollars entrusted to our care Deb Crawford, Director of Education, said in a release.
