A Thamesville man was held for bail and sent back to South West Detention Center to serve the remainder of his sentence, after breaking the conditions of his release.
While on routine patrol, police located a 31 year old Thamesville man coming out of the Cirlce K Store. Through investigation, police learned that he had been recently released from jail and was on a conditional sentence with one of the conditions being house arrest. Police arrested the male who was also found to have been drinking which was another violation of his release.
Police located a Chatham male wanted for weapons dangerous and assault at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Fifth St. The male was arrested and held for bail.
At approximately 6 p.m. police responded to a domestic disturbance on Mary St., Chatham, and located a male and female in a verbal argument. The male, who was highly intoxicated, left the residence and was subsequently arrested as he was unable to care for himself. The Chatham male was held at Chatham Kent Police Headquarters until sober.
After 9:30 p.m. police responded to Bothwell after receiving a call of a highly intoxicated woman causing a disturbance at a residence on Chestnut St. The 60-year-old female refused to go into residence and continued yelling and screaming.
She was arrested for breach of the peace and transported to Chatham Kent Police Headquarters where she was lodged until sober.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 173 calls for service in the last 24 hours. 7 people were arrested.
