No one was injured early Thursday morning when a vehicle apparently drove into the side of a train in Chatham.
Police were called about 12:20 a.m. to Colborne Street at the site of the rail crossing.
Officers investigated and found the female driver outside the vehicle and uninjured. Their investigation determined the vehicle had struck the train, not the other way around.
In fact, train officials had to be contacted to be notified about the collision.
Police say the train was stopped, and the crew found damage to the locomotive.
A 19-year-old woman is charged with impaired driving.
