Helping retirees feel more confident about their financial futures is the aim of an upcoming seminar Oct. 3.
To be held at the Chatham branch of the Chatham-Kent Public Library, the session will be presented in partnership with Shauna Tremblay, a Desjardins Financial Security life and health insurance advisor.
The forum is open to those heading towards the end of their working life, as well as those who have already retired. It will discuss how pensions and investments actually work, provide practical tools to secure wealth, how to avoid common financial pitfalls and master the mindset shift that comes with life after work.
As well, Tremblay will assist attendees in exploring common strategies to ensure your estate is handled smoothly and tax-efficiently for the next generation in order to boost clarity and peace of mind in retirement.
The presentation begins at 1 p.m. and registration is not required.
