Owner of Country Comforts in Chatham, Bailey Myers, far right, organized a fundraiser to give back to her community, with the help of local artisans, and the result was a $700 donation to the Community Living Day Program on Sass Road.
Program staff accepted the cheque at Myers store on Barthe Street recently, and the funds will help the over 40 people benefiting from the program.
Myers held the event May 30, which included offerings from local vendors, a barbecue and a 50/50 draw.
