Mr. Skittles was pulled off Chatham-Kent police’s wanted list early this morning.
On Oct. 21, a man walked into Shoppers Drug Mart on Queen Street in Chatham, stole a pack of sour Skittles and walked out of the store.
Store staff called police and the man was arrested for theft, and released with a future court date. Police later learned he gave a bogus name, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
A week later, police say the same man stole a couple of lottery tickets from the Petro Canada on Grand Avenue West.
About 3:15 a.m. today, officers tracked the suspect down on Queen’s Line and took him into custody.
Joel Davis, 25, of Windsor, has a future court date in connection with these incidents.
