Chatham-Kent has another institutional outbreak in a long-term care home.

On Wednesday, CK Public Health declared Hudson Manor in Tilbury to be in outbreak status after one person tested positive for COVID-19.
Due to privacy concerns, CK Public Health would not confirm if the infection was in a staff member or resident. It did note however, that the individual in question who tested positive had not received the vaccine.

Chatham-Kent’s active total rose to 108 after eight became resolved and 12 new cases were detected.

A place of worship remains in outbreak status as well as A.A. Wright Public School in Wallaceburg which saw five positive cases.
