Rifles stolen in Wallaceburg
Last night, Chatham-Kent police responded to a theft complaint at a residence on Running Creek Drive.
Through investigation, police learned that sometime since August, someone stole a wooden .22 cal. bolt-action rifle and wooden .22 cal. semi-automatic rifle from the residence.
Both rifles were secured with trigger locks.

Theft of tools
Sometime late Monday night or early Tuesday morning, someone forced their way into a trailer at a construction site on Gregory Drive. Approximately $8,000 worth of various tools were stolen.

Stolen vehicles
Sometime between Monday at 9 p.m. and yesterday at 8 a.m., someone stole a brown 2002 GMC Sierra pick-up truck from a residence on Nelson Avenue in Wallaceburg. The truck was last seen with Ontario license plates 165 4FV.

Sometime between Monday at 6:45 p.m. and yesterday at 9:30 a.m., someone stole a grey 1999 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck from a residence on Sandys Street in Chatham. The truck was last seen with Ontario license plates AC79 236.

Sometime between Sunday and yesterday, someone stole a blue 1991 Jeep YJ from a property on Baldoon Road in Dover Township. The Jeep did not have license plates attached to it.

Warrants
Yesterday afternoon, police located a man in Chatham who was wanted for failing to attend court last month.
A 54-year-old Chatham man was arrested and released pending a future court date.

Last night, police arrested a man in Wallaceburg who was wanted for failing to comply with his release conditions and breaching his Probation Order.
A 32-year-old Wallaceburg man has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Fender benders
Yesterday morning, emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle collision on Victoria Street near London Road in Thamesville.
A 32-year-old woman from Wingham was transported to hospital as a precaution. She was charged with failing to stop at a red light.
Total damage was estimated at $40,000.

Yesterday morning, police responded to a two-vehicle collision on Dufferin Avenue near Lorne Avenue in Wallaceburg.
No one was injured.
Total damage was estimated at $5,000.
A 19-year-old Wallaceburg teen was charged with failing to yield the right of way.
