A Chatham man spent the night in jail after someone threatened police yesterday while wielding a baseball bat.
According to Chatham-Kent police, officers were called to an Orchard Heights residence shortly after 1 p.m. Thursday. During their investigation, a man pulled out a baseball bat and started uttering threats.
A 30-year-old man is charged with weapons dangerous and intimidation in connection with the incident. He’ll be in bail court this morning.
