Chatham-Kent police say an opportune thief was busy early Monday morning.
Sometime between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m., someone entered a pair of unlocked residences on Riverview Drive, stealing one homeowner’s purse and assorted mail at one spot, and electronics, jewelry and a purse at another.
Around the same time period, someone also entered an Orchard Heights residence and made off with a purse and wallet. The home was also unlocked.
