Chatham-Kent OPP nailed speeder doing 100 mph, not km/h.
Police say just before 7 p.m., one of their officers clocked a Dodge Magnum doing 160 km/h – or 100 mph – heading west on Highway 401 near Charing Cross Road.
Darrell Cleveland, 42, from St. Catharines, faces a charge of racing a motor vehicle in connection with the incident.
The Magnum is sitting in the impound yard for a week, and Cleveland’s license is under suspension for a similar amount of time.
