About $10,000 worth of tools mysteriously walked off the job site recently at the new Children’s Treatment Centre location on McNaughton Avenue.
And now two people must answer for that theft.
Police say they began investigating Feb. 10 after learning someone broke into the site over the previous weekend and took the tools.
This past Friday, officers executed a search warrant at a Sandys Street address in Chatham and recovered all but one of the stolen tools.
Two Chathamites, a man, 35, and a woman, 42, are charged with possession of stolen property, while the man also faces break and enter charges as well.
