BIZ VOICE: Matesic picked to run Entegrus

The Board of Directors of Entegrus Inc. recently announced the appointment of Tomo Matesic as president and CEO, effective March 1.

Tomo Matesic

Matesic succeeds Jim Hogan, who will retire after more than two decades of leadership and service to the company and the Ontario energy sector.

“Tomo’s leadership, deep operational expertise, and unwavering commitment to community values make him the ideal person to lead Entegrus into its next phase of growth and innovation,” said Max Fantuz, chair of the Entegrus board of directors, in a media release. “Following a comprehensive search process supported by an external firm, it was clear that Tomo’s vision, experience, and proven track record align perfectly with Entegrus’ strategic priorities.”

Matesic joined Entegrus in 2005 and previously held the role of vice-president of engineering and operations. His focus on people, operational excellence and strong partnerships played a key role in shaping Entegrus’ culture, strategic growth, and sustainability goals, according to Entegrus officials.

“I am honoured to be entrusted with leading Entegrus at such a dynamic time for the energy sector,” Matesic said. “I look forward to working with our exceptional employees, board of directors, and community partners as we continue to deliver safe, reliable, innovative and sustainable energy solutions that our customers can depend on.”
