A Walpole Island man faces impaired driving charges after police were informed of a possible drunk driver in a drive-thru on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg early Friday morning.
Police were called about 12:40 a.m. for the suspected impaired driver. They located the vehicle and spoke with the driver, whom they say showed signs of being impaired.
After being taken back to headquarters and tested, the driver failed, police say.
A 34-year-old Walpole Island man is charged with impaired driving.
