
A dog attack in Thamesville has led to multiple charges.
Police were called shortly before 6:30 p.m. Thursday for the report of a canine attack on Victoria Street in Thamesville.
Officers learned a 55-year-old Chatham man was nipped while trying to pry an unrestrained dog from his own pooch. Police say the man didn’t require medical attention, but his dog did.
The officers identified the owner of the off-leash dog, and they learned the was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with a probation order.
A 50-year-old Chatham-Kent woman faces a charge of failing to comply.
