A Chatham woman faces multiple charges after a report of intimate partner violence Tuesday.
Police got the call shortly after 10 a.m. to a Chatham residence, and were advised that the home was being actively damaged by another individual.
Police investigated and learned that a woman had illegally entered the residence of the victim, a 47-year-old Chatham man.
She assaulted the man, police say, causing minor injuries.
A 57-year-old Chatham woman is charged with two counts of assault with a weapon, and one of break-and-enter, and mischief.
