Local fire officials and the office of the fire marshal are continuing to poke around the spot of an apartment fire on Pine Street in Chatham.
Fire broke out on Tuesday at the Maple Court Apartments at 85 Pine St.
Three Chatham-Kent police officers had to be treated for smoke inhalation.
The origin and cause of the fire remain under investigation.
