A local man faces charges following an incident of domestic violence Tuesday evening in Wallaceburg.
Police were called shortly before 8 p.m.
Police say a physical altercation had occurred, involving a 44-year-old Wallaceburg woman, as she had been assaulted. Paramedics assessed the victim’s injuries, but she declined further medical attention.
A 41-year-old Chatham-Kent man is charged with assault.
