A Chatham man faces assault charges following an early morning altercation in Chatham on Saturday.
Chatham-Kent police say a man a young woman were arguing on Wellington Street shortly after 1:30 a.m. Saturday when it turned violent.
Police say the victim was a 19-year-old woman from Windsor.
A 41-year-old Chatham man is charged with assault.
