Less than a half hour after learning of a vehicle theft on Boxing Day, police learned it went up in flames.
Officers got the call about 11 a,m. of the report of a stolen vehicle. They spoke to the owner and then received a report of a vehicle on fire in the east side of Chatham.
It turned out, the one reported stolen was the one burning.
