No injuries after cyclist clipped

Chatham-Kent police are looking for information in the wake of a collision involving a cyclist Tuesday morning.

The accident took place on King Street West, at the intersection of First Street shortly after 8 a.m. 

Police say the cyclist was riding north on King Street West when the motor vehicle travelling westbound on First Street, did not come to a complete stop at the stop sign, bumping the back of the bicycle.  

The driver of the motor vehicle quickly checked on the cyclist and then proceeded to leave.

The cyclist was not injured. 

The vehicle and driver descriptions provided to police are extremely limited at this time, and identification of the vehicle and driver are unknown. Stolen vehicle recovered

Police found a stolen vehicle with stolen items in it, and are looking for additional answers.

On Tuesday afternoon, about 3:45 p.m., police were in the area of Grey Street in Chatham when officers located a vehicle reported stolen by London police. 

A search of the vehicle revealed multiple items from a local store that were also confirmed to be stolen.

London police and the registered owner of the vehicle have been notified and the vehicle has been towed from the location and police returned all stolen items to the store.
