B&E on Forest St.

Chatham-Kent police attended a residence in the Forest Street area in Chatham Saturday responding to a call of a break and enter.

Investigation revealed that several items valued at approximately $4,900 was stolen.

Booze, bike stolen

Saturday night, at approximately 9 p.m., police attended a residence in the William Street area in Chatham responding to a call of a break and enter.

Investigation revealed that a bicycle and liquor were stolen.

Bail violation with a dagger

Saturday around the lunch hour, police attended an address on Joseph Street in Chatham for a bail violation complaint.

A 22-year-old Chatham man was located and was known to be on conditions not to attend this address. He was arrested for failure to comply with his release conditions.

The man was searched incident to arrest and was found to be in possession of a dagger.

He was arrested and charged with three counts of Failure to Comply with Release order, transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and lodged for a bail hearing.
