Realtors and rock and roll came together for a cause at the River Rock Social House March 22.

The Chatham-Kent Association of Realtors held its First Annual Realtors Rock! Charity concert in support of R.O.C.K Missions, and the night was a rockin’ success.
Local realtors had the opportunity to showcase their talent and perform on stage.

Courtney Wells Band headlined the night, and many talented special guests as  realtors joined them on stage.
Cash donations and personal hygiene items were collected at the door, all benefiting R.O.C.K. Missions, a local outreach not-for-profit in Chatham-Kent. More than $4,000 was raised by the end of the night.
“We had a great turnout for a first-year event, ” Matt Bechard, president of the Chatham-Kent Association of Realtors (CKAR), said in a media release. “It was awesome to see so many fellow realtors come together, raise funds and awareness for a local charity, and enjoy the live music. Realtors really can rock!”
The Realtors Rock charity concert is part of the CKAR’s ongoing commitment to better the communities in which they live and work.
