Trespass charges

On Tuesday night, Chatham-Kent police scooped up a couple of men found where they should not have been.

Police responded to a possible break and enter at a property on Talbot Trial in Tilbury. 

Through investigation a 28-year old male and a 21-year old male were found to have entered an outbuilding on the property, police say. 

Both males were issued tickets for trespassing under the Trespass to Property Act. 

Warrant arrests

On Tuesday morning, police attended a residence on Reaume Avenue in Wallaceburg and located a male there who was known to be wanted on a DNA warrant and a Bench Warrant for Failing to Attend Court. 

A 33-year-old male was arrested on the strength of the warrants, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and later released with a future court date.

On Tuesday night, police located a male in the area of Queen Street in Chatham who was known to be wanted on a warrant. 

A 26-year-old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and held for a bail hearing.

Last night police attended a residence on Berry Street in Chatham for an unrelated matter. While at the residence, one of the males there was found to be wanted on an OPP warrant. 

A 39-year-old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and later released with a future court date.

Early this morning, police attended a residence on Park Avenue East in Chatham and located a male there who was known to be wanted on four outstanding warrants. 

A 27-year-old male was arrested on the strength of the warrants, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and later released with a future court date.
