The on-again, off-again situation at three municipal service centres seems to be on again.
The centres, located in Ridgetown, Tilbury and Dresden, are to reopen Monday morning, according to municipal officials.
The centres closed in mid-January due to COVID-19 protocols leaving them too shorthanded to remain open.
After opening briefly at the end of the month, they shut once again for the same reason.
But on Feb. 14, they will reopen.
Cathy Hoffman, Chatham-Kent’s general manager of human resources and organizational development and chief human resources officer, said the municipality, like all employers, has had the challenge of managing staff and maintaining services throughout the pandemic.
She said employee and community safety will continue to be the guiding principle regarding municipal services.
Dresden Service Ontario office remains open by appointment only.
