C-K Cyclones announce return to hockey plan for August

The Chatham-Kent Cyclones are ready for hockey.

The organization released its Stage 3A Return to Hockey Plan for the month of August. The Cyclones plan to begin the week of August 10th, with free Skill Development Skates for all players who were fully registered in 2019-20.

“We understand that your season ended abruptly and we want to do our part to get you back on the ice so all AUGUST SKILL DEVELOPMENT SKATES WILL BE FREE OF CHARGE,” reads a post on the organization’s website, chathamkentcyclones.ca

While the Cyclones are still waiting for the “highly anticipated Chatham-Kent Arena opening announcement”, they are ensuring everyone the moment an arena opens, they will be ready to resume Skill Development Programming.

The current model for the Cyclones August Stage 3A Skill Development will be the following:

– Week of August 10th – One 90 minute Develop skate per team (Two if an arena opens)

– Week of August 17th – Two 90 Minute Skill Development Skates per team

– Week of August 24th – Two 90 minute Skill Development Skates per team

The announcement also stated depending on the amount registered, they may combine teams for the Skill Development Skates.
