93 active COVID-19 cases in C-K


Nine new cases of COVID-19 were reported by CK Public Health on Friday afternoon. 

Ninety-three cases remain active, and three of those individuals are hospitalized.

For the fifth straight day, Ontario has reported less than 100 new cases of COVID-19.

Only 88 new cases were reported on Friday morning, bringing the active cases total to 1,090 in the province. 

Approximately 60 per cent of Ontario’s active cases fall in the Greater Toronto Area.

Windsor-Essex makes up 20 percent of Ontario’s active cases, with 222 unresolved. 

Out of Chatham-Kent’s neighbouring counties, in terms of active cases, Sarnia-Lambton is doing the best with only 17.

To date in Chatham-Kent, we have seen 317 cases of COVID-19 and two people have died.
