Chatham’s TekSavvy is helping set the scene for future animal adoptions in Chatham-Kent.

The telecom firm recently donated $10,000 to help fund the new Chatham-Kent Animal Shelter’s adoption room.

“Our hope is that having a space that is warm and friendly in the new building will support families and pets finding each other,” Spencer Antaya, Manager of Strategic Partnerships and Sponsorships with TekSavvy, said in a media release.

The new shelter is set to be open next month.  Fundraising continues. With a goal of $15,000 still to be raised, donations can be made online through The Friends of the New Animal shelter or in person at the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.
