Candidates come forth

It was another busy week at the clerk’s office in Chatham-Kent, as another five candidates came forward.

They include Aaron Hall and Chris Glassford who are seeking seats on council in Wallaceburg.

Dylan McLay announced he is running in North Kent.

Ryan Jackson tossed his proverbial hat into the ring for Chatham, Ward 6.

John Mrnik announced he is seeking a position on the St. Clair Catholic District School Board, representing Ward 6.

They join mayoral hopefuls Darrin Canniff and Alysson Storey, as well as council candidates incumbent Doug Sulman, Chris June, Kirk Hooker, Drew Simpson and Karen Kirkwood-Whyte in Chatham; Henry Svec and incumbent Frank Vercouteren in South Kent; incumbents David VanDamme and Steve Pinsonneault in East Kent; incumbents Bryon Fluker and Mark Authier in West Kent, Nicolas Cadotte and incumbent Carmen McGregor in Wallaceburg, and Bob Demers and John Van Heck as school board trustees.
