A woman wanted on assault charges turned herself in to police in Chatham this morning.
On October 28, a verbal argument began between two women at an establishment in Chatham. The incident escalated and the woman punched the victim, a 23-year-old Chatham woman, resulting in her requiring medical attention.
Early this morning, the woman turned herself in to police. A 23-year-old Chatham woman was charged with assault. She was released pending a future court date of December 13.
