Justice system: “Don’t do this, this, and this.”

Far too many C-K citizens enmeshed in the justice system: “OK … wait, I don’t have to obey the law!”

That’s the revolving door mantra, it seems, around this municipality. Most recently, police in two different jurisdictions tracked down local folks for failing to follow judicial instructions.

In one case, police responded to a call of an unwanted man inside a home on Talbot Trail yesterday afternoon. Officers found the man hiding in the bathtub.

It turns out the man was bound by conditions not to communicate with the homeowner.

Furthermore, on Sept. 26, a warrant was issued for the man as he failed to comply with conditions of his Probation Order.

A 45-year-old Camden Township man face charges of failing to comply, as well as two counts of breach of probation.

And last night in Middlesex, OPP arrested a woman who failed to attend court here back in August.

The OPP transported the 19-year-old woman to Chatham and handed her over to C-K police.
