The Chatham-Kent Public Library welcomes Bothwell native Sharon Lehnert who has just published Book III of her Idiot Afloat memoir entitled Still Floating.

Lehnert will speak at Chatham Branch on Nov. 19 at 7 p.m.

There will also be a ‘meet the author’ event at Bothwell Branch on Nov. 26 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Still Floating continues the story of the author’s adventures as a single-handed cruiser, picking up in 2005 as she reconnects with many old friends and makes plans with the cruisers she meets.  Come and hear what happens next. Will the new partnership she had formed be successful? Will her sailboat Lucky live up to its name?

Art work inspired by Lehnert’s travels will be displayed and copies of all three volumes of Idiot Afloat will be available to purchase. Sharon is also eager to discuss the process of publishing both in print and digital formats.
