Two injured cyclists, lots of questions

Chatham-Kent police are looking for witnesses to try to help them piece together exactly what led to two cyclists being injured on the weekend.

Police say at about 3:25 a.m. Sunday morning, emergency crews received a call about a man lying on the roadway next to a racing bicycle. They arrived to find the man unresponsive, and located a second cyclist at a nearby residence.

Both men had to be taken to hospital. A 42-year-old Chatham man was transferred to London Health Sciences Centre and is still in serious condition. A 41-year-old Chatham man was treated and released.
