The Chatham-Kent Children’s Safety Village is putting a call out to all Grade 4 teachers for a chance to win a pizza party for the class, or for a student win an iPad mini.

Teachers must book their classes to come to the safety village between April 14 and May 23 for a chance to win.

The safety village is offering three life-saving curriculum-base programs rolled into a one-day visit.

The Grade 4 session includes the Chatham-Kent Police Service talking about bicycle and helmet safety and pedestrian safety; the safety village presents about kitchen and home safety, peer pressure and smoke alarms, as well as touring Sparky’s apartment; while Entegrus focuses on electrical safety and conservation, and line safety.

The cost to attend the safety village is $2 per child.
