PetSmart in Chatham distributed 115 “Chance” and “Lucky” plush toys to United Way’s West Chatham-Kent Outreach office, the Tilbury Information and H.E.L.P Centre, on Dec. 4 in support of their Toyful Christmas Program.

According to PetSmart store manager Peter Ostler, customers were asked at the checkout if they would like to purchase one of the stuffed animals for for $5.99 to donate them to the United Way.

The promotion will run until Dec. 29, so customers still have a chance to support this initiative, and help give less-fortunate kids a Christmas to remember.

For more information about the Toyful Christmas Program, contact Rose-Anne Mayor at 519-682-2268, or rose-anne@uwock.ca.
