
Five people face drug-related charges following a Friday morning raid on Park Street in Chatham.
Police seized about 20 grams of cocaine, a digital scale complete with cocaine residue, more than 100 shotgun rounds, two sets of brass knuckles, three pellet guns, a crossbow, four cell phones and a quantity of cash.
Police say the street value of the cocaine seized is about $2,000.
During a search of the residence, police also found several items that had been reported stolen, totalling an estimated $1,800 in stolen goods.
As a result of the bust, four men – aged 22, 28, 29 and 43 – and one woman, 35, all from Chatham, are charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of stolen property.
The woman is also charged with two counts of failing to comply.
One man, 29, also faces a failing to comply charge, while another, the 43-year-old man, is charged with two counts of failing to comply, as well as possession contrary to a court order.
