Editor: I often read the Chatham Voice.
I was reading a recent edition when I read a council member said “housing is a human right.”
I went on to read about subsidized and free housing. Very interesting and informative.
I disagree with the council member. I don’t think anyone has a “right” to housing. I’m one of those persons who was down to nada – homeless and worked to gain housing. I worked for housing! It’s not a “right.”
I resent my tax dollars going to house others!
