Door kicked, man arrested
A Chatham man earned more charges Thursday, according to Chatham-Kent police.
It seems someone visited an address on Thursday afternoon they weren’t supposed to visit, based on their release conditions.
Then, the person tried to kick in the front door of this residence.
Police say the suspect was ordered to avoid the place due to prior convictions
related to uttering threats and assault.
As a result, a Chatham man, 22, is charged with failing to comply with a probation order.
Woman charged for damaging vehicle
A Chatham woman faces mischief charges after Chatham-Kent police say she damaged her partner’s vehicle on the weekend.
The victim reported to police that someone had smashed the windshield and dented his vehicle in multiple spots.
Police investigated and arrested the man’s partner.
A Chatham woman, 31, is charged with mischief.
