Schools are closed in Thamesville and Ridgetown today due to power outages.
According to the St. Clair Catholic School Board, Good Shepherd in Thamesville and St. Michael in Ridgetown are closed.
The outage, combined with the current weather conditions, has made both buildings unsafe for use, board officials said.
“We anticipate that schools will reopen tomorrow, pending the restoration of power. Updates will be shared as new information becomes available,” officials said in a media release.
