Wheatley’s revitalization will be the topic of discussion on the weekend.
Chatham-Kent Economic Development Services office is hosting community consultations to discuss Wheatley’s revitalization plan.
The consultations aim to gather insights, ideas, and aspirations from residents, business owners, and newcomers alike, in an effort to collaboratively shape the future of Wheatley.
The first revitalization session takes place May 25 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Village Resource Centre located at 108 Talbot Trail Rd. E. in Wheatley.
A second session is slated for Aug. 17, same time, same location.
Residents are encouraged to participate and share their perspectives on aspirations and concerns.
Municipal officials said this engagement presents an opportunity for residents to contribute to the development of Wheatley’s future and inform community priorities in the Revitalization plan.
