Editor: Regarding the article about the vandalized picnic tables in Dresden, your story focused only on the hate slurs and had nothing about all the work that was done on all the picnic tables.
They were so beautifully painted by volunteers, by those who love Dresden. We are very proud of what these volunteers have accomplished for the beauty of the park and all of these folks should be so proud.
The Dresden community has worked very hard to show all that their town is the one to visit.
I hope the hate slur piece will not keep them away.
