That bud’s not for you

Most people don’t mind if someone were to pull some weeds on their properties, but that turns into a problem if you pull WEED.

Shortly after midnight, Chatham-Kent police officers were called to a Queen Street address in Chatham regarding a suspicious person stealing marijuana plants.

A 51-year-old Chatham man was located a short distance away in possession of the plants. He was arrested and charged with theft, possession, mischief, trespass by night and failing to comply with undertaking.

On Wednesday, Chatham-Kent police were called to a business on Riverview Drive in Chatham, with regards to a break and enter.

Through investigation it was learned that unknown suspect(s) broke into Imperial Auto Body, sometime around 10 p.m. on Sept. 14.

At this time it is unknown what was taken.
