Not your car, pal

Yesterday morning, Chatham-Kent police responded to the area of Park Street in Wallaceburg as it was being reported that there was a suspicious male in the parking lot.

On arrival, the male was located inside of a vehicle that did not belong to him.

A 30-year-old male was arrested for mischief and theft.

B&E

Last night police responded to a break and enter at a business on Lafontaine Street in Wallaceburg.

An unknown person forced entry into the building and took a power inverter and chainsaw valuing approximately $1,000.

The investigation is ongoing and there are currently no suspects.

Yesterday morning, an officer on general patrol in Wallaceburg located a male on Elgin Street who was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant.

A 46-year old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant.

Yesterday afternoon police responded to a residence on Taylor Avenue in Chatham for a family dispute.

Through investigation a female at the residence was found to be wanted on an outstanding warrant.

A 25-year-old female was arrested on the strength of the warrant.

Yesterday afternoon, police received a disturbance call in the area of Main Street and Margaret Avenue in Wallaceburg.

A male involved was located on Lafontaine Street and found to be wanted on an outstanding warrant.

A 25-year-old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant.

Yesterday afternoon, an officer on general patrol in Chatham located a male known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant in the area of St. Clair Street.

A 55-year-old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant.

Last night police responded to a suspicious persons complaint in the area of Fifth Street in Chatham.

A male party involved was located and found to be wanted on an outstanding warrant.

A 39-year old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant.

Early this morning, police responded to a residence on Longwoods Road in Chatham for a possible domestic complaint.

Through investigation, a female at the residence was found to be wanted on an outstanding warrant.

A 36-year-old female was arrested on the strength of the warrant.

Bail violation

Early this morning an officer on general patrol in Wallaceburg located a male in the area of Elgin Street who was known to be out past his curfew.

A 30-year-old male was arrested for failing to comply with his release conditions. Upon arrest, the male was found to be in possession of suspected fentanyl.
