Dude, where’s my car?

Chatham-Kent police have arrested and charged a man after he was found to be driving a stolen vehicle.

On April 13, at about 11 a.m., an officer on patrol observed a motor vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Prince Albert Road near Chatham.

The officer pulled the vehicle over and through investigation determined that the man was driving a stolen vehicle.

Police say on April 7, the man was released from court with one of his conditions being not to have care or control of a motor vehicle.

A 31-year-old man from St. Thomas has been charged with two counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and two counts of Fail to Comply with Release Order. He is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Warrant arrest

Police have arrested a man wanted on an outstanding warrant for breach of probation.

On April 13, the 26-year-old man of Queen Street, Chatham was arrested on Grand Avenue West in Chatham.
