This from the Chatham-Kent police:
Union Gas remains on scene of the gas leak, however Park Avenue in Chatham is now open to all traffic and residents may return to their homes.
Earlier this afternoon, Park Ave E in Chatham between Hyslop St & Park St was closed as a gas line was stuck at a nearby property.
Homes in the area were evacuated as a precaution.
No injuries reported.
