A Windsor man found unconscious on the Pain Court Line early Monday is facing charges of mischief and breaching probation.

Just before 8 a.m. police discovered the man on Pain Court Line near Jacob Road. He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for medical attention.

Through investigation, police learned that while driving through Chatham-Kent, a Windsor woman pulled over on Jacob Road as the man was intoxicated and punching the inside of her vehicle.  Both exited the vehicle and an argument started which resulted in the man breaking a car window and tail light.  Fearful for her own safety, the woman fled the area.

The man had been under a probation order since February, conditions of which stated he was not to communicate or associate directly or indirectly with a specific Windsor woman and to abstain from alcohol.

He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
