A copper thief was located and arrested after an incident in Chatham yesterday.

Chatham-Kent Police were called to St. Clair College Thames Campus to investigate a break and enter and theft of copper. Police determined that on Sunday, a 24-year-old Chatham man had cut a hole in an exterior fence and removed an amount of copper pipe.

The man was located and arrested Monday. He was released on conditions with a future court date.
