A man wanted for sexual assault was found and arrested by Chatham-Kent police yesterday.
Around 2:00 p.m., police received information that a man wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to comply, obstruct justice and sexual assault was in a van southbound on St. Clair Street in Chatham. Police located the vehicle and a traffic stop was initiated on McNaughton Avenue West.
The 70-year-old Tilbury man was arrested and transported to police headquarters. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
