Police say they found two people together who by law are not supposed to be near one another.
According to police, last fall a man and woman were jointly charged and released with several conditions, one of which was to not communicate with one another.
But yesterday, an officer went to the man’s house and found the two together.
A 23-year-old Chatham man and a 21-year-old Dover Township woman now face charges of failing to comply.
Meanwhile, failing to show for court landed a Windsor man in hot water in Chatham-Kent.
Police say on Oct. 9, the man was charged with drug possession and released with a future court date. That date, Jan. 8, came, but the man didn’t show, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Early this morning, police arrested him in Windsor. The 34-year-old man was transferred to Chatham for a bail hearing.
