Anyone looking to take the family out to work off a little of that Christmas turkey might want to consider a free skate at Thames Campus Arena on Boxing Day.
Put on by Chatham-Kent Essex MPP Rick Nicholls and his family, the free skate runs from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Local ice dancing duo and Ontario elite select team members Natalie Robinson and Chase Ireland-Heidt will perform a piece from their competitive program at the skate as well.
